Hi welcome to our site
I should really let you know a little about us at
the start. Our ideas, thoughts principles and History. I suppose it really
started when I ( Keith ) bred my first litter in November 1978 of
Staffordshire Bull Terriers, from that moment the bug had bitten good and
proper, however I should say I was rather keen on the game before, you see
I grew up in a scrap yard with hard tough dogs. I had an inbred love
of dogs in general, I learnt early on the power of the dog. Before I ever
owned my own first dog me and my son Paul now thirty three (plus a
push chair ) and bus fair travelled all middle England to all manner of
shows, but I never really felt the need to exhibit, my joy was to watch,
to learn, and breath the atmosphere of the show, I enjoyed my dogs more on
the hearth in front of the fire, incidentally the best place I still know
of to find the faults in any dog.
In 1987 Angela and I were with out any dogs due to
Pyometra we decided to try a new breed. I described this dog that I had
seen
many times walking in the village a white dog with a head like an egg and
pointed ears, I new it to be a bull terrier and it came in a variety of
colours, The man I had seen in the village was non other than the late
great Frank Priest the breeder of possibly the greatest bull terrier ever
born Ormandy Jackdandy of Superlative, Angela and I attended a few shows
and she decided that she also liked this breed, We then made a few
enquiries and were introduced to Mr David Jones from him we purchased a
brindle and white bitch, we were fairly fortunate in the show ring, Angela
had said if you like going to the shows you might as well compete, The
bitch was Ch Navada Miss Molly the Ounsdale Affix was born the day she was
made up.
Since then a few more bullies have come along International Champion
Ounsdale Iron Will he also won 1 CC at the Bull Terrier Club under Mr R
Rawle, Then came Viceroy Skip Jack at Ounsdale RCC Windsor followed by the
tragic Madam Dafarge 1CC 1RCC She died 1 month after winning the CC at
three counties CH show of cancer of the liver at age 23 months, after that
a period of non showing or breeding took place for various reasons.
We are now up to date both my self and Angela
consider some of our better ideas (breeding) being Buffolo Bill top dog
2002 and the outstanding brood Ounsdale Petite Fleur dam of two champions
and dominant in the pedigrees of many modern day CC winners, a bitch so
correct you couldn't go wrong with.
Any way I hope you enjoy the site happy browsing.
